Sea Palms Resort is the only resort on St. Simons Island to offer 27 holes of championship golf on site. The courses were designed by George Cobb and Tom Jackson in 1967.  Recent renovations to the main 18-hole course have many raving. Bunkers have been rebuilt, reshaped and replaced with brilliant white G-angle sand. Native ornamental grasses were also planted in strategic areas, which have raised the aesthetic appeal. The pines, palms and palmetto trees that line the fairways along with some overhanging moss place a premium on driving accuracy.
